As rare earth permanent magnets, Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) are also Lanthanide alloys, the same as NdFeB. SmCo magnets can also be subdivided into different grades, widely used in different areas. SmCo magnets provide many combinations of high magnetic properties, outstanding thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance for designers. SmCo magnets can be divided to two categories SmCo5 and Sm2Co17, or by processing technology sintered SmCo and bonded SmCo.
